Wing is a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist with extensive experience supporting children, adolescents and adults across a broad range of communication, swallowing, and developmental needs. Originally from Hong Kong, she relocated to Perth to pursue her passion for helping others through healthcare and completed a Bachelor of Science (Speech Pathology) at Curtin University in 2014. Since graduating, Wing has built a diverse and rewarding career within the disability and healthcare sectors, developing a comprehensive understanding of both clinical practice and the broader support systems that help individuals achieve meaningful outcomes. Prior to practising as a Speech Pathologist, Wing held a variety of roles including Support Worker, Support Worker Coordinator, and NDIS Local Area Coordinator. This unique professional background has provided her with invaluable insight into service delivery, care coordination, participant advocacy, and funding pathways. Her experience navigating the NDIS and healthcare systems enables her to support individuals and families holistically, ensuring that they receive the services, resources, and funding necessary to achieve their goals and maximise their quality of life.

At Life Active Speech Pathology, Wing provides comprehensive assessment and evidence-based intervention services for all individuals and their season of life. She works closely with children in early intervention and school-aged settings, as well as adults requiring support with communication, literacy, swallowing, and functional participation. Her clinical interests include speech sound development, language and literacy skills, social communication, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), mealtime management, and dysphagia. She is passionate about creating practical and meaningful therapy programs that empower individuals to communicate confidently and participate more fully in their daily lives. Wing has a particular interest and expertise in supporting individuals with complex communication needs. She is highly skilled in the assessment, implementation, and ongoing development of personalised communication systems, including high-tech and low-tech AAC solutions. She works collaboratively with participants, families, educators, support staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure communication strategies are functional, sustainable, and embedded within everyday environments. Through communication partner training and tailored intervention approaches, Wing helps individuals build independence, self-expression, and meaningful connections with those around them.

A strong advocate for person-centred care, Wing is committed to developing therapy plans that are individualised, strengths-based, and goal-focused. She understands that effective communication is fundamental to participation, relationships, learning, and overall wellbeing. Her warm and supportive approach allows her to build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families while delivering services that are evidence-based, practical, and outcomes-focused. In addition to her clinical work, Wing is experienced in preparing detailed assessments, reports, and supporting documentation to assist individuals in accessing appropriate funding, services and support. Her understanding of NDIS requirements and healthcare systems enables her to provide clear and comprehensive recommendations that align with participants' functional needs and long-term goals.

As a fluent speaker of both Cantonese and Mandarin, Wing is passionate about supporting culturally and linguistically diverse individuals and families. She values culturally responsive practice and recognises the importance of providing services that are inclusive, respectful, and tailored to each individual's unique background and experiences. Outside of her professional role, Wing is a proud parent of two young children and enjoys spending time with family and friends. She has a passion for travel, camping, and exploring different cultures and cuisines. These experiences continue to enrich her perspective both personally and professionally, contributing to the genuine empathy, understanding and connection she brings to her work every day. At Life Active Speech Pathology, Wing is committed to helping every individual find their voice, build confidence, and achieve meaningful participation in the activities and relationships that matter most to them.
