B.Sc (Nut), MDiet, APD

Originally from Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia, Megan developed a deep appreciation for food, culture, and community from an early age. Her fascination with the relationship between nutrition and human health inspired her to pursue a career in dietetics, where she could combine her love of food with her desire to help others improve their overall health. Megan completed a Bachelor of Health Science (Nutrition) before undertaking a Master of Dietetics and has been actively working within the community since 2016. Over the years, she has built a reputation for her approachable nature, clinical expertise, and ability to create supportive and collaborative relationships with her patients. Now settled in Perth, Western Australia, Megan lives with her husband, Linus, their two young children, Raine and Tyson, and their energetic Kelpie, Olive, who keeps the whole family on their toes. Outside of work, Megan enjoys exploring her passion for cooking and baking, singing, playing the piano, and making the most of Perth’s beautiful scenery through scenic jogs.

Megan’s warm and personal approach, combined with her extensive clinical experience, allows her to help individuals and families navigate their nutrition journey with confidence, knowledge, and practical strategies that fit their everyday lives. Megan is a highly dedicated and compassionate Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD) with almost a decade of experience supporting individuals across all stages of life. Her diverse clinical background spans paediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, with extensive experience in the NDIS sector, private practice, aged care, community health, clinic-based services, and mobile home visit environments. Megan is passionate about empowering individuals to take control of their health through evidence-based nutrition care. She believes that nutrition should be practical, achievable, and tailored to each person's unique circumstances. By combining her clinical expertise with a genuine commitment to understanding her patients' goals, Megan helps individuals build confidence in their health journey and achieve meaningful, sustainable outcomes.

Throughout her career, Megan has worked with a broad range of complex and chronic health conditions, including but not limited to: Type 1 and 2 diabetes, weight management, heart conditions, stroke, TIA, IBS, IBD, malnutrition, wound healing, pre-and post bariatric surgery management, gout, metabolic syndrome, liver disease, pancreatic insufficiency, kidney diseases and eating disorders. Megan remains committed to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest nutrition research and clinical guidelines, ensuring her patients receive high-quality, evidence-based care that reflect best practice standards. At the heart of Megan’s practice is a strong commitment to person-centred care. She recognises that no two individuals are the same and that a "one-size-fits-all" approach rarely delivers optimal results. By taking the time to understand each client’s medical history, lifestyle, preferences, challenges, and aspirations, Megan develops individualised nutrition strategies that importantly support long-term health, wellbeing, and quality of life.
